Little Feat Co-Founder Richie Hayward Dead At... | Gather

After a long battle with liver disease, drummer and co-founder of Little Feat, Richie Hayward passed away Thursday August 12. Little Feat, but also with an unreal lineup of artists such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, The Doobie Brothers, and many more. His last public appearance was on July 11, 2010, when he sat in with Little Feat for the Vancouver Island MusicFest. Richie was an extraordinary drummer, and while Gabe Ford is good in his own right, no one can ever fully replace Richie in Little Feat.
