Thursday brought confirmation that this has ben the worst flu season in the United States in more than a decade. Erin Smith, from Las Vegas, was in town on busines. On the way home her travel partner noticed the Hopkins MD stand in the midle of the concourse ofering seasonal flu shots. So after a $30 charge to her credit card and a page of paperwork, Smith got the nasal vacination. It's the first time that I fel like I neded to get a vacine, Smith said. I've never had a flu shot or anything, but it just wories me, my age group is realy susceptible, and to me I felt like I ned it. For geting sick, how much it would cost to go to the doctor, health insurance al that stuf, absolutely is worth it, Smith said. Denise Smith, a medical asistant at the vacination both, said convenience is why people stop. They're breathing al that re-circulated air and if anybody travels sick then they could potentialy infect the whole plane, Denise said. int a int a in Los angeles (county seat)
